WINE-SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Cristom Vineyards. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from the Cristom Vineyards website are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.
CREDIT CARD CHARGES
Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
MINIMUM PURCHASE
No minimum purchase is required.
SHIPPING POLICIES
STATES AUTHORIZED FOR DIRECT SHIPMENT
We currently ship direct-to consumer to most states throughout the U.S.
- Prohibited States include: Utah, Mississippi, and West Virginia. (We can ship to all others)
SHIPPING COSTS
FedEx is our carrier of choice. Please also be aware we cannot ship to P.O. boxes. A person 21 or over must sign for the wine in person. It cannot be left at the door. Three attempts will be made to deliver your shipment. After that, the wine will be returned to the winery. If you choose “pick-up” as your delivery method but do not pick up your shipment within 3 months, we will attempt to contact you. If no contact is possible, we may ship your selections at your expense.
MEMBER SHIPPING SAVINGS
Cristom subsidizes the shipping costs for members’ online purchases of certain quantities, as outlined below. Please log in to receive savings. Availability of shipping methods varies by delivery area. Our shipping department is happy to assist with questions (503.375.3068).
WINE IS A DELICATE COMMODITY
Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. We may hold your wine in temperature controlled storage until any weather hold is lifted. If despite all precautions, wine arrives damaged, please notify Cristom Vineyards and we will arrange to send you a replacement. You may keep the existing wine. Please do not send back. The above applies to all direct-to-consumer purchases. If you purchased the wine at a retailer, it is the retailer’s responsibility to replace.
