2014 Carter Vineyard Pinot Noir
Just three barrels were selected by our winemaker and winegrower to make this distinctive single vineyard bottling. We chose three barrels of Dijon clone 115 Pinot Noir fermented using 52% whole clusters. The fruit was harvested on September 19th, 2016 at 24.9 degrees Brix and pH 3.19. One new Tonnellerie François Frères French oak barrel was selected for the blend giving a subtle hint of toasted oats and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, the wine broods with dark and supple notes of blackberry and black currants.
